The Client

Switch Lifestyle is a growing restaurant franchise with locations in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, including YOMG!Yoghurt and Burger stores.

The Problem

Switch Lifestyle’s business operations have a diverse range of needs, from supply chains such as ordering and inventory, and multi-site management. In an industry riddled with salary non-compliance over the last few years, it's imperative to ensure above-the-board HR processes such as wages, timesheets and scheduling, 

Switch Lifestyle’s rapidly increasing store count required an IT design that could scale easily and quickly, allowing them to open new franchise locations with minimum fuss. Retail locations also often present network access issues, so the interconnected network required stability and reliability across the board.

The Solution

OpusV began by centralising processes such as payment, merchant facilities, employee communications and document management. To achieve this with a high level of cost efficiency, our team ensured the hardware facilitated system migration to a newer WAN system without a significant reinvestment. This was especially crucial during the unpredictable period of the NBN rollout. 

Our team also centralised POS and ERP systems quickly as new branches continued to open around the state. 

OpusV also handled the migration from Switch Lifestyle’s on-premise infrastructure to a private cloud-based infrastructure to allow for easier management over an expanding system. By duplicating and cloning key systems, the restaurant chain was able to set up parallel ventures quickly.
