  • The lab will lead to innovation-efficiency by taking concept to completion, through agile product lifecycle, helping bring minimum viable product to market launch.
  • The space will also help with safeguarding storage, through resource procurement in an enclosed space, followed by secure storage, to maintain the integrity of our engineering work.
  • The Build Room will facilitate research and development, supporting advancement of our technical products and services, through simulation experience.

Press Release

As a part of our ongoing mission to enhance our technological ecosystem with improved innovation, quality service offerings, and engineering capabilities, we are proud to announce the addition of a ‘Build Room’ to our office premises. It is an in-house collaboration space, to support secure hardware procurement, testing, and scalable solution development for our critical infrastructure clients.

Tom Hegedus, the Project Manager at OpusV says, “This new and exciting space will allow secure product handling, improve operational efficiencies, provide safe equipment storage, and logistics support.”

Designed to simulate realistic implementation scenarios, the space is equipped to support Minimum Viable Product (MVP) testing, through iterative experimentation, enabling engineers to ideate, create, identify gaps, troubleshoot, and validate systems for usage in critical infrastructure.

“It serves the need for finding out how well our services work by identifying and addressing what doesn’t,” stated the Project Technician at OpusV, Chris Bazelmans.

Here are some key use cases of the OpusV Build Room:

  • Factory Acceptance Testing can be performed in a securely contained area, to ensure that the system passes various tests and can also be demonstrated to the client.
  • Procurement and Containment area is a secure entry point, allocated to handle sensitive shipment, loading and unloading accessibility, palletised hardware or inventory management, and the practice of ruling out physical damage through quality checks.
  • Dedicated Testing and Bench Facility to receive or assemble hardware equipment, and perform tests before field deployment.
  • Multiple Staging Racks, serving as a preliminary setup zone for configurations and troubleshooting issues early on.
  • Cleanroom Zone with HEPA filtration, temperature control, and positive air pressure systems to prevent environmental contamination during test and assembly operations.
  • Security installations include control systems, glass break sensors, and roller door immobilisation mechanisms.
Michael Carmody, the CEO of OpusV Tech Group, says, “If you want to do important things, you need the right spaces and resources to do them well.

The OpusV Build Room is more than a facility, it is an ongoing development space for engineering excellence, built to scale alongside company’s growing vision and technological advancement. It also provides back-to-base monitoring, in compliance with high integration standards.

When asked about the plans for elevating critical systems’ performance, he added, “It is a key priority to develop, maintain, and grow our physical engineering and deployment capacities. Such strategic moves help retaining and developing solutions to advance the design and commissioning of products and systems securely, supporting critical infrastructure.”

The lab will enable engineers to anticipate complete project scope, visualise deployment, reach more accurate cost and timeline estimates, with a focus on sustainable and operational foresight. This initiative underscores our commitment to clients with future-ready solutions.
